Is-sinjal għal GHELUQ IS-SNIN għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal TWIELED. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn l-oħra. L-idejn, ftit ’il bogħod minn xulxin, jinżlu ’l isfel flimkien imbagħad jikkurvaw ftit ’il barra. (ii) Imbagħad l-idejn jersqu lura ’l fuq. Id waħda forma ta’ 5 tieqaf dritta mill-minkeb, bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb u l-ponot tas-swaba’ jħarsu ’l fuq. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 u l-werrej jinżel it-tul tal-id il-wieqfa, waqt li jmiss minn fuq is-swaba’ u t-tul tad-driegħ kollu.
The sign for BIRTHDAY has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for BIRTH. The hands take the shape of 5 with palms facing each other. The hands move downwards together a little apart from each other and then curve out a little. (ii) Then the hands move back up. One hand is held stationary upright from the elbow in the shape of 5 with palm facing the side and fingertips pointing upwards. The other hand takes the shape of 1 and moves downwards from the fingers all the way down the arm keeping contact with it all the way.
